The Dotcom crash happened in the year 2000. Internet companies were fast-rising and their share prices were skyrocketing. The best thing you could have was a .com after your name. It meant you were doing something groundbreaking. A lot of people became multimillionaires in stocks.
However, the crash happened and 1.7 trillion dollars was lost in a matter of weeks. Many billionaires had almost all their entire net worths wiped. And it was like the worst thing you could do in the early 2000s was start an internet company.
However, Facebook started in 2004. Sixteen years down the line, it is worth over 800 billion dollars.
At a time when we felt we had all the social media networks we needed, Tiktok came around in 2016 with something different. And more new social media networks are showing up every day.
And it's clear that they clear little about the big competitors. They instead focus on what makes them special.
Thus, the best time for them to do anything is now.
There will always be a tight competition and this will expand every day. However, you can’t give up on that unique interest of yours because a lot of people are doing it. There’s a voice that will come with yours, and that’s your unique selling point.
